Social Action at Miami Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
Welcome to the Social Action pages of the
Miami Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
The mission statement of the Fellowship asserts that we "are working together for social justice." We strive to be "a visible and compelling force, inspiring, supporting, and working together for social justice within our congregations and the larger community."
The mission of Social Action is to engage the congregation in social justice work as individual and collective expressions of our Unitarian Universalist faith,
affirming the inherent worth of each person,
our mutual interdependency,
and the need to create a world in which the institutional
structures of society are both just and humanizing,
and in which each person has the opportunity to flourish.
